Guided tour of the castle of Flaugergues

Built at the end of the 17th century, Flaugergues is one of these houses called “Folies” built in the campaign in Montpellier. Henri and Brigitte of Colbert are pleased to receive you for you to share the story of a family, their passion of the beautiful, the good, of the vine and the arts.

Transmitted from generation to generation, Flaugergues testifying today of the mode of life of the montpelliérains notables of the time. The castle is still inhabited by Henri and Brigitte of Colbert and their children. They will let you discover their furniture from the 18th century for your greatest pleasure. There you can find also: tapestries of Brussels, tables, beautiful porcelain, libraries, and archives. The French gardens, the park to the English, the aisles of olive trees, will unveil their secrets on approximately 5 hectares.

The visit of the castle includes: a guided tour of the Interior of the castle, a free visit of the gardens with either an audioguide with either a paper and the tasting of wines.

Dates: All Wednesdays 2016, at 15h. Then, Wednesdays of school holidays 2017 to 15h. June, July and September all afternoon 15H and 17h (except Monday).
