Weihenstephaner Berlin

The Bavarian Weihenstephaner Brewery, the oldest brewing house in the world, dating back to 768, welcomes beer enthusiasts in its tap house in Berlin. It is located in Mitte, the central district, in a vaulted cellar of an 18th-century building.

The restaurant serves the traditional German staples like pork knuckle and sausage, which are simple and hearty, but, expectedly, the real star of the show is the beer. The place offers six varieties of the award-winning Weihenstephaner beer, both bottled and on tap.

Try the refreshing white wheat beer with its bright flowery aroma, a classic lager, full-bodied and mild, or the traditional Bavarian Dunkel – dark, malty, and aromatic.
