A trip to London wouldn’t be complete without visiting the iconic London Eye. It is an enormous, 443-ft-high observation wheel located on the South Bank. Originally constructed to mark the millennium, it quickly became one of the most famous paid attractions in the United Kingdom. This giant Ferris wheel takes nearly a 30-minute tour offering breathtaking views across the city. A ride in one of the 32 glass pods offers panoramic views, allowing one to spot various London landmarks.

On a clear day, the visibility is up to 40km and you can see Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and Houses of Parliament. There are also night rounds, fast track rounds, and various other plans to make you enjoy the view and ride as per your liking and ease. During the night, the wheel lights up in seasonal colors and is the centerpiece of the city’s annual New Year’s fireworks display.
