In the town of Nordeste the traveller is treated to another gorgeous site. Approximately 40 meters in height and visible during the winter, the Salto da Farinha waterfall is a site that must be seen by all who are passing by.

Visitors are provided with picnic spots that not only home the view of the Salto da Farinha but also the vast ocean. The magnificent waterfall forms a small river that runs along the path that you approach to view it. You can park your car close to the path and leave it under a gazebo while you enjoy the scenic stroll to the view point. The picnic spot, ablution facilities and look-out point was created to serve the local population and those who take the time to visit it.

Salto da Farinha owes its value to the ancient milling activity that flourished in this area many years ago. If it’s a toilet, picnic spot or quick stop you are looking for, Salto da Farinha is your spot.
