The Copernicus Science Centre is the largest institution of its type in Poland and one of the most advanced ones in Europe. The Copernicus enables the visitors to carry out experiments and discover the laws of science for themselves, while interacting with robots, participating in quizzes, or even piloting a spaceship.

In more than 450 interactive exhibitions, this center combines music with biology and mathematics with architecture. Opened in 2005, the complex includes a two-story building with total floor-space of 15.000 square meters housing permanent and temporary exhibitions and laboratories, a multimedia planetarium with an observation deck and a surrounding Discovery Park, which includes open-air experimentation stations, an outdoor art gallery, and an amphitheater.

The Copernicus Science Center has seven permanent galleries: On the Move, Bzzzz! (this one for kids), RE: Generation, Thinkatorium, High Voltage Theatre, Robotic Theatre and Look: there’s the Earth, which takes place in the planetarium.
