Cardamomo Flamenco Madrid

Spectacle Room Always Open (possibly closed due Covid-19 restrictions) Check location

A meeting point for the best flamenco artists and scholars, the Cardamomo tablao has become a symbol of the love of this art and recognised by flamenco greats such as Joaquín Cortés, Enrique Morente, Estrella Morente, Jorge Pardo, Antonio Carmona, Ramón El Portugués, Tomatito and Raimundo Amador among others.

Ever since it was founded in 1994, at this tablao in Madrid it has been usual to find promising young talent who thought of Cardamomo as their “rehearsal room” for their new musical curiosities, and later they come back as acclaimed professionals.

As a result of these years of intense artistic activity committed to offering the public this art in the purest, most authentic form, the Cardamomo flamenco tablao programmes live performances every day with a different flamenco group each month.

The universal relevance of flamenco was recognised by UNESCO in 2010, inscribing it onto the “Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity”.

In this regard, and forever, flamenco is expressed in blood and flesh, passion, full of life and emotion at the Madrileño tablao Cardamomo; it’s language of the heart in true flesh that raises its voice and wakes up the flesh and soul of the world.
