Bürkliplatz

Offering spectacular views of Lake Zurich, Bürkliplatz is more than just a boat dock. Back in the 19th century, engineer Arnold Bürkli was in charge of building this lakeside promenade.

Today, this event site, an art center, and a marketplace is one of the best destinations to enjoy a variety of activities including listening to live music, shopping at a local vegetable market called Bürklimäärt twice a week, and attending occasional art performances. Bürkliplatz also serves as a starting point for tours around Lake Zurich and hosts a nice flea market every Saturday during the summer season.
