If you are visiting Geneve and wish to see an impressive work of art, feel free to pay a visit to the famous Broken Chair, a work of sculptor Daniel Berset from 1997. Made out of wood with 12 meters high, this sculpture dominates the Place des Nations for over 20 years.

It symbolizes the victims of landmines and urges governments from all over the world to ban landmines once and for all. The structure also reminds the state to help and protect all of the victims. To illustrate its goals, the structure has only 3 legs with the fourth leg being broken. This image is actually regarded as one of the best art pieces in the 21st century.
